I know what it feels like to be the person others count on. To lead through uncertainty, make difficult decisions, navigate competing priorities, and carry responsibility that doesn’t end when the workday does.
I also know what it’s like to reach a point where success no longer answers the questions that matter most.
For more than 30 years, I built a corporate career leading global marketing organizations and helping businesses grow through change and complexity. Along the way, I learned that how we navigate our work is often shaped by ways of being we rarely stop to examine. They help us succeed. They also influence how we respond to challenges, how we lead, and what we believe is possible.
Through the study and practice of ontological coaching, I came to understand my own life and career differently. Looking back, I saw choices that had always been available but that I couldn’t recognize at the time. That shift didn’t change my past. It changed how I moved forward.
Today, I partner with leaders and individuals who are ready for that same kind of shift. Drawing on my coaching, executive leadership experience, and practices that help people see beyond familiar patterns, I create a space where clients can see themselves, their circumstances, and what is possible in a different way. From there, they are able to make intentional choices about what comes next.
My coaching is grounded in the Accomplishment Coaching methodology, an ontological approach that recognizes lasting change begins with who we are being, not simply what we do. Some conversations involve thoughtful questions. Others include distinctions, practices, or tools that help clients see what has been difficult to see on their own. Every conversation is in service of creating greater awareness, greater choice, and a future that is intentionally created rather than simply inherited.
Beyond my coaching practice, I serve as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Open Books, a Chicago nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through reading, writing, and the unlimited power of books. I also serve on the Board of Directors and chair the Marketing and Communications Committee for Mentoring Youth Through Technology (MYTT), an organization preparing young people to thrive in a technology-driven world.
